The proprietary
HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix addresses the issue of surface wettability of silicone hydrogel materials in a novel way. The HydraGlyde® Moisture Matrix was specially designed to surround the lens surface, thus making the entire surface hydrophilic and wettable.¹

One of the challenges encountered with some silicone hydrogel materials is a tendency for lipid deposition. These deposits can be somewhat elusive, sliding around the lens surface, yet adhering to it with a glue-like stickiness. Patients may complain of reduced comfort and visual disturbances due to these lipids. OPTI-FREE® PureMoist® Solution incorporates an advanced cleaning system which effectively removes protein deposits and reduces lipid deposition.²

The cleaning ability of the solution is complemented with the ALDOX® and POLYQUAD® dual disinfection system that has been shown to be effective against a wide range of micro-organisms, including activity against both cysts and trophs of Acanthamoeba.^3,4
